Every Community Futures offers a wealth of services for small businesses in rural communities. Whether you’re thinking of starting your own business or growing your current business, we can provide advice, resources, business training and coaching. If you’re an entrepreneur – or want to become one – we can help.

Prosperous business ventures don't just happen; they grow out of careful research and planning. Community Futures believes that entrepreneurs are key agents of diversification and sustainability – much-needed ingredients for maintaining rural prosperity. That's why we provide a range of programs and services that can help you get off to a great start.

Our Community Futures office offers advice and support to people wanting to start a new business or already running a small- or medium-sized business.

We can help you by providing you with the tools to:

  • Write a business plan
  • Improve your business plan for financing purposes
  • Research potential markets for your business
  • Create realistic financial projections
  • Find other assistance programs which might work for you

We do not write business plans for you as it is important for you to understand in detail the business opportunity, why it is an opportunity and how you are going to make it your business opportunity. It identifies, how your new business will be structured, the product/services that you will offer, how you will enter the market and how much money you will make.
